INFORMATION
The North Cape Cabins are owned
by the company FILMRAPPORT. This sole proprietorship is owned and operated
by Frode Kristiansen. All cabin rentals are arranged by Frode Kristiansen
or a member of his family. Below is some important general information about
the cabins for your consideration as a future guest. More detailed house
rules are posted in each cabin.
- These are privately-owned cabins, which
are used by the Kristiansen family and their guests during the off-season.
We therefore ask that you treat the cabins and all furnishings with
the same high degree of care and consideration with which you would
handle your own property.
- From the parking area near the main road,
there is a 60-meter walk along a gravel road down to the cabins.
- It might be possible to rent a row-boat including life-jackets and fishing equipment. Daily rate is NOK 250. No hourly rental. No advance
boat reservations. Be sure to mention your interest in boat rental
upon arrival.
- No credit cards. Cash payment only in Norwegian kroner
(NOK) upon inspection/acceptance of the cabin.
- In addition to
using North Cape Cabins own booking system, your
host may also be contacted via his private mobile phone (which functions
as a reservations hotline) at (+47) 95 13 88 91. Other phone numbers
listed at the bottom of this page will put you in contact with FILMRAPPORT.
There are no staff present. We will arrive from Honningsvåg at
the time you tell us, to meet you.
- IMPORTANT! Due to the fact that the cabin
facility is unstaffed, the following important points should be noted:
You decide the arrival time at the cabin and we will meet
you at that time - no sooner, no later.
If you are not travelling by car, there is a taxiservice in Honningsvåg.
Phone (+47) 78 47 22 34. In the cabins you´ll find a bus schedule for
the local- and the North Cape buses which passes close to the cabins.
- If we don't agree upon anything else, the time for check-in is after
1400, and you have to leave before 1200.
- Communication (written and oral) must be conducted in English
(or Norwegian, Swedish, Danish).
